On November 28, Almaty hosted a meeting of the Republican round table on the theme “Strategy for the development of young science: from problems to solutions”, organized by the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by representatives of the councils of young scientists of higher educational institutions, research institutes, manufacturing enterprises and the corporate sector. Baishev University was represented by the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Balmagambetova V.
Among the speakers of the event were A. Sembayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Science Committee, D. Batryshev, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences, and M. Gabdullin, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakh-British Technical University.
The round table discussed the systemic problems faced by young scientists, the issues of submitting applications for scientific and technical projects and programs within the framework of GF and PCF competitions, and the adaptation of the scientific community to new realities.
