The regular Science Council meeting under the Aktobe Region Akimat supervision was held at ‘Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University’ on October 21, 2025. The meeting was attended by Abzal Alievich Abdikarimov, the Aktobe Region Deputy Akim, as well as heads of regional departments, universities’ representatives, including Baishev University ones, and frontmen of large industrial enterprises.
The meeting addressed the follows: integration of scientific research into the region’s socioeconomic development, support for innovative initiatives, and the scientific research commercialization. The meeting participants also discussed the research centers creation with the major regional subsoil users’ support, and both priority research areas and the regional scientific ecosystem development, as well as strengthening the interaction between science and industry.
