The competition for the “Best University Teacher” title awarding (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) is held in accordance with the order of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2015 No. 124 “On approval of the Rules for awarding the title of “Best University Teacher” (hereinafter referred to as the Rules).
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are full-time teachers of higher and/or postgraduate education institutions (hereinafter referred to as HPEI) and have at least five years of continuous scientific and teaching experience by the time of submitting documents for the Competition participation may take part in it.
The Competition is held in two stages:
Stage I – intra-university
It will be held from 03 up to 14, November, 2025.
To participate in the Competition, applicants must submit documents electronically through the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the MSHE IS ).
Stage II – Republican
It is conducted from 01 up to 12, December, 2025.
To participate in the Republican stage, the applicants must submit electronic competition documentation through the MSHE IS, including the following information based on the results of the intra-university stage:
1) an application for to participate in the Competition just in the form specified in Appendix 1 (приложение 1) of the Rules;
2) information on qualitative and quantitative indicators in accordance with Appendix 2 (приложение 2) of the Rules (supporting documents are attached for the last 5 years, except for the clause where it is specified for a specific time period);
3) an annual work schedule in accordance with Appendix 3 (приложение 3) of the Rules;
4) a decision of the collegial governing body of the HPEI;
5) a personal record sheet, certified for the work-place;
6) a copy of an identity document;
7) information on a current 20-digit current account in the card database.
Information on completing documents electronically will be posted in the MSHE information system (universitycontest2025.iac.kz) after registering the Competition personal email address.
The HPEI senior management are responsible for conducting the Competition intra-university stage and ensuring the high-quality submission of materials for the national stage.
