The «Young Teacher’s School» has been conducted continuously for decades and is an integral part of the university’s teaching staff’s professional development system. The purpose of the «Young Teacher’s School» is to organize pedagogical mentoring, train young specialists to work in accordance with the requirements of modern result-oriented life, with a comprehensive search for new technologies in innovative educational activities; improving the quality of training, active development of students using new pedagogical technologies in their activities.
Within the framework of the «School of a Young Teacher», a course titled “Pedagogical Mastery and Ways to Improve It” was conducted from October 14 to 24, 2024, with a duration of 72 hours. Seven young university instructors participated in the course. The course program consisted of six modules, during which mentors organized seminars, training sessions, lectures, and practical activities on current issues related to organizing innovative information activities and research work in modern higher education. During the course, young teachers became acquainted with the internal regulations, labor discipline, job responsibilities, and the specifics of teaching at the university. Special attention was paid to modern teaching methods, the use of new information technologies in the educational process, as well as working with the automated information system “Platonus” and resources from the electronic library.
Upon completion of the course, young teachers who successfully mastered the program were awarded certificates.
