On February 12-24, 2025, the Institute of Advanced Training of Baishev University will host a training course “Methods of Teaching Kazakh as a Foreign Language through a System of Ethnocultural Units”. The course program is based on the results of the research project “Methodology of Teaching Kazakh as a Foreign Language Through a System of Ethnocultural Units» (Grant No. 19680524, 2023-2025). The program was developed by the project team (PhD Maydangalieva Zh.A., PhD, Kuzembayeva G.A., PhD, Yermekbayeva G.G., PhD) and the course moderator is Yermekbayeva G.G. 46 people registered for the course, of which 20 people holding academic degrees in Kazakh linguistics and methods of teaching Kazakh were shortlisted. The high demand for the course is also evidenced by the wide geography of participants (Kokshetau – 1, Petropavl – 4, Astana – 6, Karagandy – 2, Pavlodar – 2, Almaty – 2, Kyzylorda – 2, Aktau – 1). The courses will be held in distance format via ZOOM.
