On February 13, 2025, the next meeting of the English Club was held at Baishev University on the topic “English-speaking countries on the modern world map” (D.T. Kushanbaeva, head of the English Club at Baishev University).

During the meeting, the Club participants demonstrated presentations about a number of countries where English is the native or official language of communication, and a thematic quiz was held as well.

The Club members & guests (teachers & students) shared their impressions about the role of English as the international communication language (during both students’ external outgoing academic mobility and foreign tourist trips, as well as visits of foreign scientists to the University).

Coordinators of the international linguistic and pedagogical project AELTLCA E. Pilipenko and Zh. Zhubantaeva,  and participants of the international inter-university student teams of the AELTLCA project spoke about the progress of research work on the topic “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Learning English”.
