Student Parliament

The Student Parliament is a collegial, advisory and advisory body on issues of state youth policy, whose competence includes: organizing and conducting cultural, scientific, and sports work among students of the Baishev University.

The Student Parliament is headed by a Chairman who is elected at the beginning of the academic year.

The Student Parliament consists of:

  • Chairman of the Student Parliament;
  • Youth Affairs Committee;
  • The student council of the hostel.

Student senators carry out the current management of the activities of the student dean’s office, form its composition, coordinate its work, and, if necessary, submit problematic issues of students to the committee for consideration.

Committee on Youth Affairs The Committee on Youth Affairs (hereinafter – KDM) is a public organization established to represent, protect the rights and interests of student youth, promote their implementation, solve legal, socio-economic and everyday problems of students.

The main activities of the KDM are ensuring the observance and protection of the rights of students, representing their interests; developing proposals and recommendations for solving the problems of student youth; participating in conferences, sessions, forums on student youth issues; holding seminars, round tables, discussions, conferences, trainings; organizing cultural events;

monitoring the socio-economic and household situation among students, as well as organizing raids in student dormitories, canteens, libraries; formation of an anti-corruption culture among students through the organization and conduct of large-scale information campaigns (distribution of various types of printed products: posters, stickers, calendars, booklets, etc.).

The Student Council of the dormitory (hereinafter referred to as the “Student Council”) The Student Council was created to involve students living in student dormitories in the development and implementation of measures aimed at improving educational, cultural, physical culture and recreation work, organizing leisure and healthy lifestyles of students, to assist the university administration in improving housing conditions and consumer services within its competence.
