The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces a selection for initial professional training for persons entering the law enforcement service for the first time.
Selection is carried out for the position of prosecutor of the city district prosecutor’s office (category C-RGP-5), whose functional responsibilities include, within the limits and forms established by law, the highest supervision over compliance with the rule of law on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representing the interests of the state in court and, on behalf of the state, carrying out criminal proceedings persecution.
Acceptance of documents for participation in the selection is carried out by territorial divisions of the prosecutor’s office (contact numbers and addresses are listed below) from February 7 to March 7, 2024.
To participate in the selection for initial professional training, candidates must undergo testing, including an assessment of personal qualities in the authorized body for civil service affairs (according to the corresponding program for law enforcement positions). Basic requirements for candidates:
1. Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Age from 18 years, but not older than 35 years.
3. Higher legal education.
The examination at the Academy is carried out in the form of oral answers by the candidate to three questions posed on the examination card and additional questions from members of the commission.
The exam will be conducted in the following disciplines and regulations:
1) Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3) Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
5) Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Administrative Offences”;
6) Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
7) Administrative procedural code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Candidates successfully pass the selection will undergo initial vocational training at the Academy.
The duration of initial professional training is: 6 months (5 months training at the Academy + up to 1 month internship).
For the period of initial professional training, candidates are provided with a stipend in the amount of 40,532 tenge.
