On February 12, 2024, in the assembly hall of Baishev University, an event was held in honor of the 100th anniversary of the National Hero, the hero of the Great Patriotic War, who hoisted the Victory flag at the Reichstag in Berin – Rakymzhan Koshkarbaev. During the event, a film about the hero was shown to students.
The purpose of the event was to give patriotic education to young people and teach them to love their country.
Also, during this event, students were told about the father – a veteran of the Great Patriotic War – of one of the teachers of our university, candidate of legal sciences, professor Telibekov Bakytbek Arykbaevich.
