On November 23, 2023, Waldemar Manyukevich, PhD Professor at the Lodz Technical University (Poland), held a scientific seminar with the participation of the faculty of Baishev University on the topic “Features of writing scientific articles”. During the seminar, work was carried out with the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The professor explained that the database data is ideal for searching for research on a selected topic in the process of writing scientific articles, how to search for data in the database, how to use it, as well as how to learn how to publish your own work. He shared his experience of writing and publishing scientific articles based on Scopus and Web of Science. The participants asked questions about the specifics of writing a scientific article and exchanged opinions.
