On April 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with the participation of 2nd year students majoring in “Jurisprudence” and organized by professors of the Higher School of Natural Sciences and Humanities, candidate of legal sciences Bakytbek Arykbayuly Telibekov and candidate of legal sciences Irina Mendigereevna Telibekova, according to the Plan of the Decade of Science of Baishev University, “Civil Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ( Special section), Criminal law of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Special section)” brain-ring was held. During the brain-ring, student teams performed tasks using teaching methods such as “Brainstorming”, “Working in small groups”, “Menu”, as well as tracking interdisciplinary connections. 2nd year students demonstrated their understanding and knowledge of civil-legal and criminal-legal terminology and applicable law, their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and their ability to interpret the law. The jury assessed the harmony of team work, the independent division of roles in it, the coherence of students’ actions in the team, the ability to navigate the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, use normative legal acts to solve environmental problems, analyze legal documents, formulate answers, and formalize them on paper.
